Organic Uganda Mount Elgon Ground Coffee 227g
Carefully roasted to highlight its rich, toasted chocolate character, this bold and full-bodied coffee comes from the cloud forests of Uganda.
This exceptional single-origin coffee delivers environmental, social, and ecological benefits while supporting around 300 coffee farmers involved in a reforestation initiative near Uganda’s Mount Elgon region. The project helps protect Mount Elgon National Park and the surrounding Central Forest — one of Africa’s most biodiverse ecosystems — by reducing pressure on natural resources. Farmers are encouraged to safeguard the forest through tree planting and by lowering reliance on firewood collection, helping preserve habitats for wildlife including forest monkeys and antelope found along the mountainsides.
Every bag features a unique tracking code that connects you to the farmer’s ongoing conservation work within the cloud forest community. With each purchase, trees are planted to support both the forest and local farming families. All Source coffees are carbon offset through reforestation initiatives and are fully traceable back to the conservation project at their forest origin.
